Within a large area dominated by parking and hard surfaces, planting is designed as functioning green infrastructure rather than as decorative islands between cars.

Low shrubs are planted in broad masses to receive rainwater, create a clear spatial volume and provide resilient vegetation during dry periods.

Multi-stem trees introduce a human scale into the commercial environment while providing shade and a stronger vertical planting structure.
